NurtureNature Limited began with a dream and a deep sense of responsibility. After spending over 20 years in the plastic toy industry, I saw how much joy these toys brought to children’s lives. Yet, the growing concerns about the environmental impact of plastics weighed heavily on my heart. I couldn’t ignore the mounting evidence that plastics, as we were using them, were harming our planet.

I believed there was a better way. Plastics, with their versatility and ability to bring colorful ideas to life, could be part of the solution if we changed how we used and disposed of them. This belief sparked a journey that would transform my life and, I hoped, make a meaningful difference in the world.

With a small, dedicated team, we embarked on a three-year journey of research and development. The road was fraught with challenges. We discovered that many so-called “eco-friendly” solutions, like plant-based PLA, weren’t as green as they seemed. PLA doesn’t degrade in natural environments and needs industrial composting facilities. Worse, we found that some companies were adding harmful substances like melamine to PLA, making it even more damaging. Others blended traditional plastics with wheat straw or other materials, pretending to offer green solutions.

There were moments of doubt and frustration. Late nights filled with failed experiments and endless discussions about how to do better. But every setback strengthened our resolve. We were driven by a vision of a world where plastics could be part of the solution, not the problem.

Our breakthrough came when we developed a unique biodegradable formula that harnessed the benefits of plastics while eliminating their environmental impact. We focused on creating biodegradable PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) materials that could turn waste into something beautiful and useful. This was more than a scientific achievement; it was a testament to our belief that change is possible.
